In an emergency

Call 999

999Call if someone can’t be woken, their breathing is slow, shallow or noisy, or they have a seizure. If you’re not sure, call.
  • Stay with them. Never leave someone to sleep it off.
  • If they’re breathing, put them in the recovery position.
  • Follow what the call handler tells you. They’ll talk you through it.
